Daily life in Bali Mandira
Saturday, April 30th, Bali Mandira Beach Resort & Spa celebrated its anniversary. The day, eagerly awaited by all the staff, ended with a 5 hours ceremony that gathered a considerable part of the 300 employees. Those missing were on duty, taking care of our guests. Speaking of guests, our special guests for the anniversary party were Mr. and Mrs. Moar from Darwin and Mr. and Mrs. Stevenson from Sydney.
The show was hosted by two of the most popular employees of Mandira – Jeffri and Padmi. The modern and traditional artistic moments, most of them being interpreted by our colleagues, have alternated permanently. Srinata, Darsana and Boli brought to light a piece of traditional ancient Balinese scene. Bagiasa played the electric guitar and showed everybody what bottle juggling and dealing with fire means. Ayu, Citra and Agung performed charming traditional Balinese dances. Bandesa brought his guitar on the stage and sang a few very popular american songs. Ari demonstrated his amazing Balinese dancer skills which made even the General Manager dance on the stage in front of an enthusiastic audience.
Our friends from Electron Duo Band, Fonny and Aris, performed international and Indonesian songs during the evening. All the participants entered a lottery with a lot of prizes [laptop, bicycles, home theater, dvd player, motorcycle helmets, microwave oven and many more]. The Special “Employee of the year” Award was handed to Didik Priambudi while Bali Mandira owner greeted personally some of the oldest employees of the hotel and thanked them for their devotion and professionalism.
To all Bali Mandira’s visitors, our deepest and sincere appreciation. You helped us being better and better in our service and we’re grateful for that. Every visit, every smile, every comment from you was extremely important for us. Here’s why we have the courage to think ahead, to think about the future. From the heart of Legian Beach, from the best beach “on the best island” (according to Travel Leisure Magazine’s vote) Bali Mandira salutes you all. May the Balinese peace be with you always!
