Daily life in Bali Mandira
The new year started in Bali Mandira in the deafening sound of 200 trumpets and endless fireworks in the sky. In the first minutes of the new year the band was forced to turn on the amplifiers to the maximum sound level possible in order to be heard. There were 7 hours of continuous party with bottle juggling, Balinese dance, fashion show, live band & DJ performances, funny contests for guests and sexy dances.
Our honorable guests enjoyed the spectacular buffet dinner. Beef tongue, California rolls, banana blossom, chicken & jicama, baby octopus, beef consommé & mini choux pastry profiteroles, Lyonnaise potatoes, roasted marinated Balinese style duck, roast leg of lamb marinated in Argentinean chimichurri were only a few of the delicacies.
The beverage section was attractive enough to transform our party into a huge celebration of the year 2010 and a warm welcome for 2011. Please enjoy some of the pictures made by Bali Mandira’s professional photographer Gede Adi. Others made by some guests will be posted tomorrow. We wish you all a Happy New Year!
