Pictures from Easter Fun Sunday

Easter Sunday was real fun! Our guests enjoyed a sunbath while the kids crowded the games area. They colored, had paintings on the face, smashed watermelons with a bat and played with balloons and with the Pink Easter Bunny.

The adults joined the fun for the swimming contest. They had to swim with one hand while holding an Easter egg above the water surface with the other hand. At the end of the party a massive Easter eggs hunting started, transforming the pool area into a real battlefield.

Thank you everybody for the great fun! Enjoy your holiday in Bali Mandira.

Ogoh-Ogoh parade in Bali Mandira

Today is the day of total silence all around the island due to Bali’s Lunar New Year. But yesterday there was no silence at all. Thousands of people crowded the streets to follow the ogoh-ogoh parade. You can see above some pictures from Bali Mandira’s ogoh-ogoh parade, attended by the hotel personnel and our guests. After the ogoh-ogoh has paraded around the hotel, the Ngrupuk ritual will take place tomorrow, which involves burning the ogoh-ogoh.
