Daily life in Bali Mandira
We’re proud to introduce you our new chef, Arouna Ilboudo. From the beginning of December 2011, he became an integrate part of our dedicated and talented food & beverage team.
Arouna, age 38, was born in the picturesque region of Normandy, North-West France. He started cooking at the age of 16 in his native country, spending years later in fine restaurants from the UK, Belgium and Switzerland. We were pleased to find out that he was the catering chef at the famous Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland.
Although he traveled a lot around the world, Arouna decided to live in Bali since 2006. He said he loves the island and its kind people. A very quality oriented chef, he hopes to have a very good experience at Bali Mandira with nice and tasty results. Bonne chance, Arouna!
Also we would like to express our gratitude for our previous chef, David Cailleba, for being a part of Bali Mandira staff for the last two years.
