Today is the day of total silence all around the island due to Bali’s Lunar New Year. But yesterday there was no silence at all. Thousands of people crowded the streets to follow the ogoh-ogoh parade. You can see above some pictures from Bali Mandira’s ogoh-ogoh parade, attended by the hotel personnel and our guests. After the ogoh-ogoh has paraded around the hotel, the Ngrupuk ritual will take place tomorrow, which involves burning the ogoh-ogoh.
